History: The
Baracuta G9 Jacket was first designed in 1937, in
Manchester, by John Miller. The Baracuta G9 was to become
known as the Harrington Jacket. The name was inspired by
Ryan O'Neal who wore the Jacket for his role as Rodney
Harrington in Peyton Place.
The Baracuta G9 has achieved iconic status, it has been worn
by the likes of Steve McQueen (the cooler king), Frank
Sinatra and Elvis Presley.
In 1977 the Baracuta G9 jacket was the jacket to be
seen in for all British Punks and in 1981 The Clash wore a
customised Baracuta G9 Jacket for their Times Square
concerts
