Diesel History / Facts: The Diesel company is run by Renzo Rosso from Northern Italy. In 1978 Renzo Rosso joined a group of manufacturers that went by the name of Genius Group INC and in 1985 Rosso took complete control of the group.

In 1996 Diesel's flagship store in New York was opened. To date the brand is available is available in over 50 country's worldwide.
